Maurice E. Warner, 42 of Leesburg, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
He was born Wednesday, November 1, 1967 in Leesburg, VA and was the youngest son of Sarah Dora Warner.
A native of Loudoun County, Maurice grew up in Philomont. He was a graduate of Loudoun Valley High School.
He served his country honorably as a United States Navy Seabee in Iraq.
Mr. Warner worked for Dominion Virginia Power for twenty-two years and held the position of Overhead Lineman.
Maurice loved his country and serving in the military for he was an active member of the Naval reserve, NMCB23 battalion.
Maurice leaves to cherish his memory his wife Tricia D. Warner, and sons, Travis M. Warner and Kyle M. Warner of Leesburg, VA.
Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Mary C. Warner of Philomont, and his brothers, Landon Warner of Philomont, VA, Paul Warner of WV, and James Warner of Philomont, VA; his father-in-law: Dr. Ron Mahood of CA, brothers-in-law: David and Daniel Mahood and sister-in-law: Chayna Mahood, and other family and friends.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Purcellville Baptist Church located at 601 Yaxley Drive Purcellville, Virginia, with the Dr. Ron Mahood officiating.
The family will receive guest from 9:30 until the time of the funeral.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA, with military honors.
